Omeprazole + domperidone belongs to a group of medicines called gastrointestinal agents used to treat heartburn, indigestion, epigastric pain, gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GERD), peptic ulcers and Zollinger-Ellison syndrome. Domperidone + Omeprazole is a combination of two medicines: Domperidone and Omeprazole. Domperidone is a prokinetic which works on the upper digestive tract to increase the movement of the stomach and intestines, allowing the food to move more easily through the stomach. Omeprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) which works by reducing the amount of acid in the stomach which helps in the relief of acid-related indigestion and heartburn. Domperidone+Omeprazole 10mg/20mg Capsule is a prescription medicine used to treat gastroesophageal reflux disease (Acid reflux) by relieving the symptoms such as heartburn, stomach pain, or irritation. It also neutralizes the acid in the stomach and promotes easy passage of gas to reduce stomach discomfort.Domperidone+Omeprazole 10mg/20mg Capsule is taken without food in a dose and duration as advised by the doctor.
